Meet our Academy Director
Craig Tyrrell, the Director of Tyrrell's Soccer Academy came to the United States from a small
Caribbean island, St.Kitts, located south east of the United States Virgin Island. He
graduated from Lincoln University Jefferson City, MO (NCAA Division II) in 2001 with a B.S.,
Civil Engineering Technology and an A.A.S., Architectural Drafting. In his home country he
shared his love for the game of soccer with the kids in his village through teaching and while
been an Athletic Director. In his second year of collegiate play he was given the title of Head
Coach. After graduating Craig signed his first Professional soccer contract with the Long
Island Rough Riders Professional Soccer Club, New York in 2001. Most recently he retired
from professional play after spending the first two seasons of the club's existence with the
City Islanders Professional Soccer Club of Harrisburg, Pa. While playing professionally, he
also represented his country internationally on several occasions. Craig has been and still
is involved with local and national groups that are geared to the development of kids' soccer.
Some of these organizations include People to People Sports Ambassadors of American of
Spokane, Washington, Lower Dauphin Soccer Club, Campbelltown Soccer Club, David
Bascome Soccer Academy and the Palmyra High School Soccer. Craig was also the trainer
and Assistant Coach for the Cougars of Palmyra High School when the captured the 2007
State Championship. In 2008 he was promoted to Head Coach for the Boys program and
lead the Cougars to their first ever District 3 Championship. Craig holds a National C United
States Soccer Federation license since 1999 and is a qualified National Head Coach at
various levels including U-15-U18, with coaching experience at the National Premier Club
level in St.Kitts.

Our Mission Statement
SOCCER like any other sport is a game of
PASSION. It is with this passion, that we
seek to create an avenue to assist the
younger generation in learning to
appreciate this sport that we have all come
so much to love.
We feel the responsibility to teach the game
to groom not only great players but also
great individuals. The main focus of this
organization is player individual
developement, which will in turn create
good team members to build a great team.
A child has to travel a period of growth to
become an adult and this takes time. This
is our approach to teaching the game so
that it would be appreciated and respected.
To give each child the necessary time
which he or she needs to growth in the
game. And most important, TO MAKE THE
GAME ENJOYABLE.

Theresa Tyrrell is the Academy's
General Manager and takes care of the
day to day running of the organization.
Theresa has also managed City
Islanders Profession Soccer Club
Super-Y U17 teams. Theresa has a
vast amount of experience in the
business section. Her experience
ranges from been the Marketing
Director for large companies which
includes, but not limited to MBNA,
Gerber Life and General Motors.
Behind every good man is a GREAT
woman.
