| Craig Tyrrell, the Director of Tyrrell's Soccer Academy came to the United States from a small Caribbean island, St.Kitts, located south east of the United States Virgin Island. He graduated from Lincoln University Jefferson City, MO (NCAA Division II) in 2001 with a B.S., Civil Engineering Technology and an A.A.S., Architectural Drafting. In his home country he shared his love for the game of soccer with the kids in his village through teaching and while been an Athletic Director. In his second year of collegiate play he was given the title of Head Coach. After graduating Craig signed his first Professional soccer contract with the Long Island Rough Riders Professional Soccer Club, New York in 2001. Most recently he retired from professional play after spending the first two seasons of the club's existence with the City Islanders Professional Soccer Club of Harrisburg, Pa. While playing professionally, he also represented his country internationally on several occasions. Craig has been and still is involved with local and national groups that are geared to the development of kids' soccer. Some of these organizations include People to People Sports Ambassadors of American of Spokane, Washington, Lower Dauphin Soccer Club, Campbelltown Soccer Club, David Bascome Soccer Academy and the Palmyra High School Soccer. Craig was also the trainer and Assistant Coach for the Cougars of Palmyra High School when the captured the 2007 State Championship. Craig holds a National C United States Soccer Federation license since 1999 and is a qualified National Head Coach at various levels including U-15-U18, with coaching experience at the National Premier Club level in St.Kitts. |
